Discord Bot Privacy and Data Usage

This page explains what both private ThanHub Discord applications do, which Discord Gateway intents they use, what data they process, and how users can request help or deletion.

Private community bots. ThanHub Rover | V1 and ThanHub Rover | V2 are operated only inside the official ThanHub community. They are not public bots and may not be invited to, copied for, or operated in unrelated Discord servers.
No sale or AI training. ThanHub does not sell Discord data, use it for advertising, or use ticket messages to train or fine-tune machine-learning models.

Why Server Members is required
V1 receives member join and leave events, sends verification instructions to new members, records limited join/leave history, verifies membership, and assigns or removes configured verification and premium roles.
Why Message Content is required
V1 supports existing prefix commands beginning with th, including AFK, giveaway reroll, and gacha commands. It also increments numerical message-activity counters used by community features.
Data processed or stored
- Discord user ID, guild ID, username, join/leave/verification event type, and configured role state.
- License key relationships, license status, execution/reset counters, and inactivity timestamps.
- Daily, weekly, and total message counts. V1 does not store ordinary message text in its activity-count database.
- Prefix-command content is processed to identify the requested command and arguments.

Why Message Content is required
V2 reads messages in private support tickets when the ticket owner enables AI assistance. It also reads ticket messages to generate a transcript when a ticket closes and detects messages posted in the designated scam-trap channel so it can delete the message and apply the configured timeout.
AI processing
AI assistance is off by default and must be enabled in a support ticket. Relevant support text may be sent to the configured Google Gemini API to produce an immediate response. Purchase and giveaway tickets are not answered by AI. ThanHub does not use this content to train its own models.
Data processed or stored
- Ticket owner, channel, ticket type, status, staff claimer, timestamps, and action history.
- Ticket messages and attachment links may be retained in a private transcript after closure for support accountability.
- Moderation actions, affected user, channel, reason, and outcome may be retained in private staff logs.
- Scam-trap messages are deleted from the server; moderation metadata may remain in logs.
Retention, Access, and Security
Data is retained only for operational, security, support, licensing, and accountability purposes. Access is limited to authorized ThanHub staff and service infrastructure. Retention duration depends on the record type and may be shortened when the data is no longer required.
ThanHub uses Discord, Supabase, Cloudflare, Google Gemini for optional AI responses, and licensing providers where required to operate these features. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
User Choice and Opt-Out
- Users can avoid AI processing by leaving Request AI Help disabled and using staff-only support.
- Users can avoid prefix-command parsing by using slash commands where available and not invoking th commands.
- Automated moderation and required server safety controls cannot be opted out of while participating in protected ThanHub channels.
- Users may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible stored data through the ThanHub support server.
Contact and Deletion Requests
Open a support ticket in the ThanHub Discord server and state that the request concerns privacy or data deletion. Include your Discord user ID so staff can locate the correct records. Some security, transaction, or moderation records may be retained where necessary to prevent abuse or meet operational obligations.
